Frankie is President and Chief Operating Officer of Essex. Frankie has been with Essex since 2003 and has extensive experience leading the development of new communities, acquisition of existing communities, and overseeing the operations of 30 current and former Essex managed communities. He has an active role in financial, legal, design, and entitlement processes for Essex’s newly developed and acquired communities, and is responsible for identifying new development, acquisition, and operational opportunities across the United States.
Frankie’s leadership, experience, and positive attitude have served him well when engaging with strategic partners, government officials, financiers and investors, property owners, industry and civic leaders, and residents and staff of Essex’s communities.
Prior to his career at Essex, Frankie pursued a career in medicine, following in the footsteps of family members. Ultimately Frankie left medical school, accepted a “temporary” position with Essex, fell in love with the 55+ housing and care industry, and nearly 20 years later is an ardent advocate for the 55+ housing and care industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Nebraska, and is active in community betterment programs. Frankie resides in Omaha with his two children.
